Accessibility
Last reviewed September 1, 2026
The Golis Team wants every owner, investor, and tenant researching the Central Coast multifamily market to be able to use this website. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and we treat accessibility as part of maintaining the Site, not a one-time project.
What we've built in
- Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure on every page.
- Text alternatives on meaningful images, including property photography.
- Full keyboard operability — navigation, filters, forms, and galleries work without a mouse.
- A color palette checked for contrast against WCAG AA ratios.
- Labels on form fields and descriptive names on icon-only controls.
- Text equivalents for visual data: every property shown on an interactive map also appears in the page's cards or transaction ledger, so nothing is map-only.
- Layouts that reflow for screen magnification and small screens.
Known limitations
- Offering memoranda (PDFs) — the marketing PDFs attached to active listings are produced outside this site and may not be fully tagged for screen readers. If you'd like the contents of any OM in an accessible format, contact us and we will provide it.
- Embedded maps — interactive maps are provided by Google Maps and rely on Google's own accessibility support; the same information is always available as text on the page.
Compatibility
The Site is built to work with current versions of Chrome, Edge, Safari, and Firefox, and with common screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver) on desktop and mobile.
Feedback and assistance
